Meet Penny Lane! She was born around about April 2016, and is a female Shepherd mix weighing about 45 lbs. and is pure sweetness and joy! When you meet her you'll see, she has an attitude of gratitude and just smiles at all the new friends she meets. She does great with kids. She'd do best in a house without cats and prefers to be the only dog in the house. Here is how people who know her best describe her: "Penny Lane is an amazing, loving girl. She LOVES to snuggle anytime, but particularly at night. She’s also a big fan of toys! Penny Lane is a puppy at heart and enjoys running around. She is super lovey pretty laid back happy to sleep anywhere. She can be a bit possessive of her food and toys but she's working on this. Penny Lane is very treat motivated! She loved being around people and would do really well in an active home. My daughter is 7 and Penny loves her!" Penny has gotten another lease on life having been pulled from a New Mexico shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized :( Penny has a lot of life to live and joy to give to whoever chooses to adopt her. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
