Penny is an 11-month-old, 37lbs spayed female pit bull mix with a heart full of love and energy! She's dog-friendly, loves to play, and especially enjoys splashing around in the water-she's the perfect companion for outdoor adventures and fun activities!

Though Penny can be a little shy at first, once she warms up, she's as sweet as can be and ready to share all the love she has. She's high-energy and would thrive in an active home where she can run, play, and explore. Penny also keeps a clean kennel, making her easy to care for and a great house guest.

Penny has been returned to the shelter twice-once because the other dog in the home didn't get along with her, and the second time because she was too rowdy for small children in the home. She's looking for a home with no small children or dogs who might not enjoy her energetic playstyle.
