What is Speedway Animal Rescue’s adoption process?

All of our dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for heartworm. To adopt a dog from us, you will be required to complete an adoption application. When your completed application is returned to us, we will conduct a criminal background check, verify home ownership or landlord permission, check with any veterinary references and conduct a home check.   We do not have a shelter. All of our dogs are in foster homes. Please call us to make an appointment to meet one of our adoptable dogs.

What is Penny’s adoption fee?

Is Penny good with kids?

Penny is not good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Penny good with other animals?

Penny is not good with other dogs and cats.

When can I meet Penny?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Penny?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
