Hey, my name is Penny! With my gentle temperament and a heart of gold, I’m your perfect companion dog. I’m well mannered and know basic commands. I am very conscientious so a simple “no” or finger wag will make me instantly regret my behaviour and beg for forgiveness and pets.
I have a special front leg that wasn’t properly formed, but I don’t mind one bit and get around just fine… stairs and couches pose no problem!
I walk nicely on leash, but prefer to go at my own pace… about half-way through I like to just lay down and enjoy nature.
I have a dog friend I like to play with, but I would prefer most other dogs to just give me space until I’m comfortable. I’m tolerant and a little cautious with most cats.
I used to be very timid around new people, but I’ve made great headway and I’m learning to enjoy the attention. I love being with my person at all times, so when I’m left alone I tend to cry and wait at the window for your return.
