Meet Penny
Introducing Penny! She is a gorgeous female pointer mix that came from a high kill shelter down south where she was at risk of euthanasia. She is hoping to find a loving forever home. Penny is an active, playful and sweet girl. She loves to be outdoors and enjoys treats. She has a sweet personality and would be good in a home with children. She is not always fond of other dogs and would do best as the only dog in a home.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
