Penny Whippet & Labrador Retriever Mix Smithfield, NC

Penny is a sweet and lovable 3 year old girl who is friendly to everyone she meets! She is sometimes anxious when first meeting new people, but warms up to others quickly and loves to be part of the activities. She likes walks, car rides, and exploring new places, but also likes to be at home getting cuddles or taking naps. Her favorite toy is the laser light pen and she loves trying to catch the little red light.
She has been with a family with children, other dogs both big and small. She has some limited contact with cats, and would probably be fine in a home with cats, especially playful ones. Penny roams free in the home and is house trained, but is also crate trained if needed. She likes to run, so a fenced in yard or someone who likes to walk often is a plus.
Penny is low maintenance, does not shed much, and is a joy to be around!
