Meet Penelope!
This lovely 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighs 63 lbs and is a gentle, soulful girl. Found as a stray alongside her likely sibling, Phoenix, Penelope is a bit more reserved but just as sweet. Once she warms up, she loves attention and affection.

She’s house and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. Penelope has done well with other dogs and people in her foster home and is especially respectful and submissive—even to the reigning queen of the household, a Great Pyrenees named Maureen.

Penelope is spayed, heartworm negative, fully vetted, and has recovered beautifully from entropion surgery. With her low to medium energy and quiet disposition, she’s looking for a patient home where she can continue to blossom.
