Penelope's Story

Meet Penelope! The teeniest frenchie we have fostered. She weighs in at a big 16lbs. She is a female spayed french bulldog. She is also fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Don't be fooled by her small stature as she makes up for it in personality. She is your typical frenchie. Stubborn and sassy to boot! She gets along well with other dogs but definitely stands her ground when needed. She would do best with other passive dogs who won't hurt her for being sassy.
She is crate trained but her potty training is still a work in progress. New owners must be ok with accidents in the home while she is learning.
Her body type can be described as a tater tot with legs. Because of her small stature and body type, she should not be allowed on stairs or allowed to jump off of any furniture. If you aren't familiar with IVDD in french bulldogs please do your research on prevention as new owners need to be diligent with her on precautions. A single story home is preferable unless you can commit to only carrying her up and down with baby gates on each side to keep her safe.
Her personality is funny and silly and she loves to be cuddled. She licks and nibbles your ears. She also loves toys and to run and play in the yard.
This little girl is sassy and opinionated also. She will tell you when she senses danger. Even if it's just the noise from a dishwasher that startles her. She will tell you.
All in all, she really is a little lovebug. We are looking for a dedicated owner who loves quirky dogs and will commit to keeping her safe and healthy.
