Penelope Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Portland, OR

Miss Penelope is full of potential--potential to be a great sports pup, potential to be a terrific family pup, potential to win your heart. This small female heeler mix is learning new tricks quickly, and is showing to be a sponge, ready to pick up whatever you want to teach her. She is sweet as can be but being a herding dog she isn't quite a cuddler yet. Perhaps when you've gained her trust she will learn that affection and pets are a good thing for small girl puppies. Penelope will follow you everywhere, always by your side - give up on spending time alone in the bathroom if you adopt this cutie.

Penelope walks well on a leash, almost perfectly, but hey, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. She is great with people and respectful children but does jump and nip which is a normal heeler trait. It'll just take some training to teach her to sit and get a treat, instead of jumping. She gets excited to be around other dogs but knows how to behave with them.

Penelope is about 20 weeks old and weighs about 30 pounds. She is not spayed yet being too young but she does have her vaccines and rabies.
