Penelope Beagle & Hound Mix Cincinnati, OH

Give a warm welcome to Penelope the beagle mix! Penelope is not new to the reacue as when she first came in open her spay it was quickly discovered she was pregnant. Penelope was definitely in need of a rescue as not only was this girl pregnant but she was only about eight months old. It was very evident that this was not this gals first liter of puppies. Not even a year old and already a mama at least twice.

Penelope’s bad luck however did not end though once a HART pup. It was determined that Penelope had five pups. With the delivery of the first pup it was evident that not all were likely to make it. This brave gal was the best mommy though and delivered all five pups with only two making it.

With all that behind her Penelope mama days are now behind and she is ready for a fresh start. Penny does great with all the dogs. She has been around several of all sizes and ages. She is a very petite girl at about fifteen pounds but could use some weight on her as mommyhood took its toll.

Penelope could use some work on the leash as well as some assistance with potty training as mommyhood also effected that somewhat. Penelope is doing well but does have some accidents.
