Peggy is a resilient and loving 9-year-old girl who has overcome a heartbreaking start to life. She was found on the streets of Memphis in terrible condition — malnourished, injured, and in need of urgent care that ultimately required the removal of one of her eyes. Despite everything she has endured, Peggy’s gentle spirit and sweet nature continue to shine.

After three years in a caring foster home, Peggy is now looking for a forever family, as her foster is moving out of state. She deserves a peaceful and loving home where she can finally settle for good.

Personality:

Peggy is a calm and easygoing dog who enjoys attention and companionship. She may be shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. She’s an “easy keeper” who doesn’t ask for much — just a soft bed, a kind voice, and someone to love.
