Meet Peggy
Miss Peggy is a sweet female German Shepherd who is about 6 years old.
Peggy was rescued after living in an outdoor kennel with another dog for over a year. Someone was coming by to feed them occasionally, but not nearly enough. Since her freedom ride, Peggy has been friends with everyone she meets. She has every reason to be shy and uncertain, but she's taking it all in stride. She's gaining weight and her coat is looking a bit better and she's ready to find her forever - this time a home with a soft couch, not an outdoor kennel!
Peggy seems to do well around other dogs. We have not introduced her to cats or children, but suspect she would be fine with older dog savvy kids.
Peggy moved to a foster home on 10/31 where she is living with an adult male German Shepherd. We will update her bio as we learn more about her.
