Peewee came to rescue roughly three years ago and we thought he had found his forever family. He originally came from a backyard in Florida, where he had lived most of his life in a crate with two other Jack Russells after a stint in the shelter. After adoption, he rode off to Virginia and settled in for a bit. We received videos and photos of a happy pup! Recently, they decided he was no longer a fit for their family. Peewee is up to date on vaccines, HW negative, and neutered. He is roughly 10-11 years old. Peewee has recently been fighting sporadic seizures so our vet is monitoring, as well as on Denamarin for his liver. Peewee would prefer to live in a home with a doggie door and someone who is home most of the day so that he can get in to a routine for his bathroom breaks. He is crate trained, but will bark some, and prefers to be crated beside another dog, not alone. Peewee would love to be the center of attention for a retired human, or someone who works from home. He is skittish, won't be a lap dog, but has learned to give kisses and rely on his human for security. You are his rock!!! Having a deaf dog is no issue at all, as they cannot hear any outside norms, and will not get traumatized by storms. Peewee is a wonderful boy who is simply looking for the best final chapter of his life! Can you give this to him? He is fostered in Wilmington. NC.
