Pecan's Story

Pecan is a 2 y/o boy who was found stray and taken to the shelter in Guadalupe County. When no owner came to claim him, a volunteer arranged for transport to Houston. Pecan is probably a beagle / coonhound mix. He is 14 inches tall and weighs 30+ pounds.

Pecan has good house manners with only a rare episode of marking. Pecan is a good pack mate. He enjoys playing chase and wrestling but doesn’t horn in on others fun…. though he may show off his bay to ask if he can join in! He is an easy-going guy who greets new hounds into the pack without fuss.

Pecan enjoy having his ears stroked and any attention that comes his way. He is never demanding of your attention but soaks up all the loving you have to share! He will make a good addition to an any family!
