Meet Pearsall
Hi, my name is Pearsall! I'm a mixed breed dog born around 12/1/2020. I came up to Wisconsin from San Antonio, Texas and weigh close to 44 pounds. I am new to the shelter and they are still getting to know my personality but I've been a good dog so far! Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us!
Update from previous shelter:
Met with Xena and Dorito, Pearsall did great with both of them. He's friendly and wants to play.
Temp on first approach: Pearsall is all tail wags.
Coming in and out of the kennel: Pearsall is currently in a crate and does very well coming in and out of it.
Leash handling: Pearsall walks well on the leash, he can pull when he gets excited and wants to play, but nothing too crazy.
Temp w/ males: Pearsall met with T Bone and did great! He immediately initiated play and was happy to be interacting.
Temp w/ females: Pearsall met with Hayden and did well. He approached her right away and was respectful. Hayden cowered down and became submissive and rolled on her back, Pearsall backed off after that.
Appear potty trained? Unsure.
Final temp w/ people: Pearsall loves people! He has lots of love to give and is a total sweetheart.

All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
