Meet Pearl

sweet mama seeking her own humans! PEARL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Pearl Best Guess for Breed: Pointer and lab mix
Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of April 2025 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 35 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs and cats! She is sweet around children she has met, but does not currently live with children. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Pearl is Looking For: This sweet, amazing mama tended to her six babies Racetrack, Richmond, Ricky, Roland, Roush, and Rusty even while she and all six of them were ill with parvo. They all arrived into our care, we got everyone better, and now they all are ready to seek their forever homes!

Pearl is a great pup - young, happy, eager for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed would be great too. But you know what? As a survivor, Pearl knows what's most important in life - being safe and loved, knowing who her family is. In exchange she has so much to offer. Adoring gazes, love, and loyalty. She is truly a pearl.

What do you say? Are you Pearl's new chapter? Is she the one you see by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: Pearl is an extremely loving and sweet dog! She loves receiving affection and dishing out kisses. She truly cherishes human affection. Pearl gets along well with other dogs and cats, and is currently living with a cat. Pearl has been sweet around all humans she has met, including children. She loves to play at the dog park and is the kind of dog that can match your energy. She is doing great with her crate training and appears to be a quick learner. Pearl is on the shyer side and would benefit from an owner committed to socialization that gently introduces her to new environments and experiences. Pearl would make an amazing addition to a loving family!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
