Meet Pearl
The Pearl is the Queen of the gems and the gems of the Queens. I am a rare find and will be scooped up by a Queen (or King) in no time! My name is Pearl and I am a 5 month old, 30 pound, Aussie and Cattle Dog mix girl. I have a shorter coat, however my ears have the merle pattern.
I am an energetic and social girl who loves people and plays well with other dogs. Being an Aussie and Cattle Dog mix, I have a natural drive to herd and nip, I am not recommended for a household with children. Teenagers are okay, if they don't mind the occasional excited ankle or back of knee nip to herd them around the house. I am an extremely smart girl and love to learn and be helpful with keeping other animals in order. The other puppies in my foster home are so much fun to herd inside and outside of the house.
I already know the commands for "sit" and "down". I am crate trained and am perfecting my potty training skills. I love to play with toys, snuggle, go on car rides and go on adventures. My recall skills are improving, I know my name very well and generally come when called. I will need someone who has time to devote to continuing training with me so I will grow up to be the best gem of them all! I will need a house setting with plenty of space for me to run and play while being supervised. No apartments for me, please, unless the person is home a majority of the time, very active such as a runner or daily hiker and there is a fenced dog park on property. If you are ready to add a little sparkle and shine to your life, submit your application for me today!
**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**
**Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.**
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
