Meet Pearl
Pearl is a 2 year old, Treeing Walker Coonhound mix that is looking for her perfect forever home! She would do best in a quiet home but that is also active. Since she is only 2 years old (and a hound mix) she will need someone that is able to take her out for walks and hikes. We are also requiring the home has a secure and stable 6ft fence. She has been able to escape from fences that are not secured properly or that are flexible and may "bolt" once she has escaped. Because of this, the fence requirement is not negotiable.
Pearl gets a long great with other dogs and we believe would be happiest living with another dog. She loves to play ball and loves squeaky toys! She knows sit, stay, shake, off and down. She almost always comes when called. :) She is housebroken and also crate trained. She gets a bit spooked at lawnmowers, fireworks and loud noises. She also can get a little car sick but she also hasn't spent a lot of time in the car. KARE can help the new adopter on how to help her adapt to car rides.
Since she would prefer a quiet home and likes her personal space, we would like to place her in a home children who are older than 12. No cats or chickens.
Pearl is a very loving, sweet, gentle girl that will be a great addition to the right home!
