Meet Peanut Butter & Banjo

Meet our sweet pups, Banjo male (tan & black) and Peanut Butter female (tan/white). They are approximately 14-15 weeks old. Their mom is a Dutch Shepherd mix. We think they are lab/shep mixes (and probably more breeds thrown in for good measure!) - we don't do DNA test.

Peanut Butter (white one) is confident, sassy, affectionate, friendly, inquisitive, and a leader. She's always on the go and on the move. She loves to play. She's very happy. She's the first to try or approach something new. She is also very quick to warm up to new people. Peanut Butter is treat motivated and loves to eat. She would love another dog companion in the home. She would do well as an only dog but would love dog friends to play with on a regular basis.

Banjo (the dark one) is very sweet and a sensitive soul. He is curious and approaches new things with a healthy level of caution. He is shy with new people but warms up quickly. He's very playful. He would love another dog companion in the home. He's very attached to his sister and loves cuddling with her when they nap. He is very treat motivated and has learned very quickly that running into his cozy crate for nap time and bed time earns him a dry banana treat. He loves to eat.

They are both very good at letting you know when they need something like if they're really thirsty because their water has run out and the human hasn’t refilled it, if they are cranky because they're hungry or tired, or if they need to go potty. They are potty training and this will need to continue with their forever home. They do seem to already understand that pooping is for outside only. They sleep well through the night.

They are very young puppies so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication and time puppyhood requires.

Banjo and Peanut Butter’s mom and siblings were rescued. They have been vetted, microchipped, and up to date on their age required vaccines.

An application must be submitted to be considered. Our application to adopt can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org. For the safety of our beloved rescue dogs, all adoptions require a completed application, reference checks, and a final contract signed promising you will never neglect the dog.

Once your application has been approved, one of our team members will contact you to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each animal based on each individual animal.
