Hi, I'm Peanut and I'm a funny little thing with loads of "PERSONality" which is a funny thing to say cause I'm a dog, ya see. My shelter mama's took me from some sweet gals that do something called outreach in the Polo area. They basically help people with animals who need homes, food, shelter, etc! Now that I'm here at Liberty Animal Shelter, I need a furever home.

A few things about me:
-I'm so goofy! I keep the shelter staff laughing. Some would even call me a comedian
-I LOVE playing in water. If you have a hose, forget productivity! You better let me bite the water!
-I love treats and am super treat motivated. If you have one, I'll do anything you ask!
-Toys are the best!!! I will chase a ball or frisbee for hours.
-After I get my energy out, I want to cuddle! Let's curl up on the couch and watch a movie!
-I have been pretty respectful with toys and bedding. The fluffy blankets are so nice to lay on!

I may be young and full of life, but I'm super smart! I would pick up on tricks and commands easily. Come adopt me, I'll show you!

**Peanut will have an adoption fee of $80.00 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of their sterilization, canine distemper and bordetella vaccinations, as well as a simple dewormer. This fee does NOT cover the cost of their rabies vaccination and heartworm test, which are to be paid by the adopter at time of pick up from the servicing veterinary clinic.**

Once completed, you must submit to shelter staff via email at aco@libertymo.gov or by fax. Liberty Animal Shelter staff will review your application and contact you to advise of receipt, approval and schedule an appointment.

The Liberty Animal Shelter is currently open 11 to 5 Monday thru Friday and by appointment on the weekends.
