Meet Peanut
Peanut was originally adopted from us years ago, but was unfortunately rehomed, then eventually picked up as a stray and returned to the shelter. When he came back to the shelter, he was heartworm positive. Now that he has been successfully treated, Peanut is ready to find his permanent forever home.
At 7 years Peanut is one of the sweetest dogs at the shelter. He is very calm and does well with both people and dogs, cats unknown. He would benefit from having a dog to play with and keep him company. When left alone at times Peanut likes to talk which means…. I want to be with you! He can yodel with the best of them (watch out Jewel). Peanut can be a little shy and timid at times but love and security can fix that. He sits on command and does well on a leash.
After being passed around Peanut deserves a home and a family to pamper him as he heads into his senior years.
