Holy moly cuteness! Meet Peanut. This gal was spotted on a corner, surrounded by traffic with a vacant, scared look in her eyes. When a good Samaritan pulled over, Peanut was frozen in fear and she was easily scooped up to safety. Peanut was initially a timid little gal. She had a belly full of worms, body full of ticks and a few cuts and scraps on her little, boney body. Today she is feeling so much better and making progress. When Peanut first crossed our path, we thought she was just a puppy but she was and is in fact, closer to a year. Still a youngster, Peanut is full grown and will always look just like a puppy! She is quite unique looking, small enough to scoop in to your arms and so puppy-ish looking. Peanut currently is in foster care with mature kids and other dogs. Her foster mom tells us she is either in full play mode or sleeping, there is no in-between, however Peanut is initially fearful of people. She will need to go to a home that will work with her with her confidence. Once she feels comfortable with her people, she is a love, however, there is no doubt that her past has made her insecure.
