Meet Peaches
SPECIAL NEEDS -- SHE IS DEAF.
NAME: Peaches.
BREED: Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix.
GENDER: Female, spayed.
DOB/AGE: 1/30/21 … 8 months old.
WEIGHT:
COLOR: Red Merle.
WORKING ON HOUSEBREAKING.

Peaches was adopted at nine weeks old from a shelter in Colorado. Her people brought her to Kentucky but when they decided that they couldn’t take care of her they left her at a shelter in Meade County that didn’t have room for her. Luckily, kind volunteers found a foster home for her in Louisville.
Maybe her original adopters were intimidated when they found out that Peaches is deaf but her foster Mom reports that this is no problem for Princess Peaches. At approximately eight months old she is healthy and energetic and quick to use her beautiful sky-blue eyes to never miss a trick.
Her “ghost eyes” suggest that she is Australian Shepherd but the unique spotting of her peaches-and-cream complexion points to Catahoula Leopard Dog as well.
Peaches acquired the title of Princess because she sits in a lawn chair as if it is her throne.
As pretty and regal as she is, Peaches is still a puppy. She is very active and will play all day with her foster buddies. She is extremely friendly with dogs, people and even cats. She is also affectionate and loves to cuddle.
Because she is young, it may take Peaches awhile to “curb her enthusiasm” but she is eager to please and is learning to respond to hand signals and walk calmly on leash (with the help of her Easy Walk harness which comes with her for free!).
Peaches is spayed and fully vaccinated. She loves to be loved and is ever so eager to join her Forever Family.
