Meet Peaches
We are no longer excepting applications for Peaches. Effective 7/09
This sweet girl is a petite but solid pit mix. We think she is between 6 months and a year old. She came to us as a stray and was not claimed. She absolutely loves people and reminds you if you aren't paying enough attention to her. Peaches also seems to be very fond of hanging out on the couch with you. She immediately heads that direction when brought out of her kennel. Peaches has the high energy of a young dog. She also has clearly not been worked with in her previous home. Out trainer is starting to work with her.
She doesn't pay a lot of attention to the other dogs at the shelter so we think she would do fine in a home with other dogs. We would do a meet and greet to be sure that is the case. We don't know how she does with cats at this point but we will cat test her soon.
Her main focus is with people. Peaches needs a home with older kids. Teenage would be best. Peaches is still very much a puppy and needs patience and training. Peaches is a hugger and a kisser. She is a very loving pup and quite adorable!
