Meet Pax

The Premier Pooch of Peaceful Evenings and Playful Pursuits

Introduce yourself to Pax, a delightful two-year-old lab retriever mix with a hefty dose of charm in his 60-pound frame. If your idea of a perfect evening involves a quiet time at home with a loyal companion by your side, Pax is your ideal match. He excels in the art of relaxation, especially if it involves snuggling up while you tend to the garden or lounging beside you after a playful session in the yard with his sister.

Pax approaches life with a gentle reservation, slowly warming up to new friends with a dignified curiosity. Once he's comfortable, his affectionate nature shines through, making him a devoted companion. When it comes to playtime, Pax likes to keep things orderly, preferring the company of dogs who are calm and perhaps a bit more on the submissive side, just so everyone knows he's the one setting the pace.

A true homebody at heart, Pax thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs in a spacious yard—apartment living isn't quite his style. He's a dream indoors, fully potty trained, and walks into his crate without a fuss, settling down quietly to nap away the afternoon.

Training Pax is all about consistency and patience, as he appreciates a predictable routine and gentle guidance. While he does have a bit of a protective streak, it's more about making sure his loved ones feel safe rather than any overt guarding behavior. This means he’s looking for an adopter who understands how to balance reassurance with gentle leadership to help him feel secure.

Pax is ideal for someone looking for a dog who isn't just a pet but a companion who's happy to share every moment with you, be it in peaceful solitude or a spirited play in the backyard. If you're ready for a furry family member who brings both tranquility and a touch of guardianship to your home, Pax would love to meet you.
