Meet Pavlov! (formerly Fuerte at Philly ACCT)

Three year old Pavlov was found tied to a pole in a local Philly park when his finder cut him loose and brought him to the shelter. The rope was tied so tight around his neck that the finder had to cut it off.... Pavlov just laid on his leg while he worked to untie him ♥

Pavlov has some bite wounds on his face that are currently being cleaned/treated. He was dog-tested while at the shelter and did okay. He will be evaluated more with other dogs while in foster care after his decompression period. Pavlov remains sweet after the neglect he has endured and we will ensure he finds an amazing home for the rest of his life!

Pavlov will be fully vetted prior to adoption including neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworm, 4dx heartworm/tick test, and on monthly heartworm prevention year-round.

NOTE: All of our dogs remain in foster care for a minimum of 30 days (for Pavlov, this eval period is up on 3/23/21) while we get them vetted and address any issues. This gives us time to let them decompress and to learn more about them to better place them in a forever home. We DO accept applications during this time.
