Pauly Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Loving brown eyes and a beautiful brindle coat make Pauly's need to cuddle an enjoyable experience for you both. This approximately 1.5 year old Terrier/Chihuahua mix is 17 pounds of snuggle. Pauly loves nothing more than curling up next to his human, laying on a lap, or being carried.

Pauly is easy. He’s housebroken and doesn't have any accidents in his crate. He’ll sit by the door when he needs to potty. He rarely barks and is a good boy in his crate. Pauly is good on leash and in the car but, really, he mostly prefers to hang out inside with his people. He would be equally great for a single person in an apartment or a family in a house. Anyone would be happy with little Pauly!

He's friendly to everyone and his little tail never stops wagging. He's playful and a little goofy in ways that will make anyone smile. Pauly enjoys roughhousing with other dogs and is friendly with cats and small children. When it comes to food, Pauly has not exhibited any food issues and will take treats gently. He especially likes bully sticks (wink, wink).

Squeaky toys, tug-of-war, or just running around, Pauly is a playful guy. As far as the yard is concerned, he prefers to be near his humans when outside. If it's a fence with gaps (like a metal fence) he'll have to be watched because this wiggly boy can slip through the gaps.

So do you need a Pauly in your ‘hood? If you are generous with cuddles and belly rubs, then Pauly will fit in just fine. Fill out an application now and make plans to meet this little dreamboat.

If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. :-)

However, visual breed identification is unreliable. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog’s individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess. Dogs are individuals.
