Meet Polly!
Polly is very devoted and affectionate, always wanting to be with her foster dad to cuddle and receive pets. Though it's against house rules there, she would be happy to jump up onto the bed or couch with you for snuggles & sleeps. Polly is a 1 year old pitty, spayed & UTD on all her vaccines. She is a goofy, klutzy, kleptomaniac. Given to random bursts of energy, she is learning to tone it down while inside. Incidents where she crashes into things have been happily reduced!
LOL, her constant theft of shoes and socks seems harmless, as she has not damaged either (or anything else besides her toys). Her greatest progress has been with basic obedience. She responds well to 'sit', 'down', 'stay', 'heel', 'wait', and more. Ideally, she would do best with an experienced dog owner.

She absolutely loves her older foster dog sibling but she just has too much energy and plays too hard for her. So her best home would include a younger resident dog. She is unafraid and very excited to meet new dogs. No aggression...she just wants to play.

She is very alert, and loves to watch the neighborhood, announcing any security concerns. She does not bark excessively. She weighs 50lbs and has a gentle mouth.
Polly would like a sibling who matches her puppy energy & playfulness & who wants to cuddle and play with her! She is potty and crate trained and loves chewing on her bone and cuddling with her stuffed lamb at night! She’s still working on her manners such as not jumping so she would probably be best in a home with only older children.
She’s a huge love bug who just needs a furever family to share it with!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
