Paulie D's Story
Paulie D is a 5-year-old, 9-pound male chihuahua mix from Alabama.

He is a sweet, loving little guy whose favorite place is anywhere as close to you as possible. He loves to be in your lap and give you as many kisses as he can. Paulie's tail is non-stop wagging once he is comfortable, and he does the cutest little wiggles and bunny hops when he's excited. His favorite move is to army crawl towards you.

Paulie is adjusting slowly but steadily to city life. He walks great on a leash, but tends to freeze when he sees people walking towards him. He warms up quickly to people after some chin scratches. A little reassurance goes a long way for him! He is highly motivated by attention and praise.

Paulie is scared of other dogs, but is coexisting well with the resident dog at his foster home. We believe with socialization, he will become more confident around other dogs.

Paulie is housebroken and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is very low key and loves to just hang out near you. We recommend him to go to an adult only home in a quieter area.

Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Dental cleaning done 3/3. Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention due 5/3.

Please apply using the following instructions if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails: Visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application.
