Paul Shepherd & Husky Mix Phoenixville, PA

Paul is what we refer to as a big teddy bear, his fur is thick and super soft and he is very huggable - just like a teddy bear! Paul is affectionate, he actually initiates the hugging, it is really sweet. He is just so happy to see the volunteers coming to take him for a walk that as soon as he gets outside he says thank you with a nice hug.
Speaking of walks, Paul is excellent on a leash, easy to walk especially for a dog his size (almost 70 pounds). He is also housetrained, keeping his kennel run clean at all times.
Paul isn't a big fan of other dogs, especially if they get in his face. He tolerates most of them when we go on walks but definitely lets them know if they get too close, as a result Paul would do best as an only dog in the home. He isn't actively looking for trouble so taking him on walks around your neighborhood would be fine, just need to know his limitations in terms of other dogs.
Paul deserves a safe, loving forever home, one where he gets plenty of walks and snuggle time. He is a great dog and would be comfortable in so many different homes - maybe yours???
