Patton here! I recently moved to MaxFund all the way from New Mexico in search of my furever home. I am a very sweet, loyal, loving young man. Tennis balls are one of my favorite things in the whole world - I could spend hours chasing them around the yard. I play well with other doggies, and love grown up humans.

The MaxFund folks haven't seen me with children before, but think I would do just fine with them. They also don't know how I do with cats, but I will happily get cat tested! I would love to go to a home where my family stays pretty active and can help me burn off some of my energy. I am still young, and would benefit from some training. How our adoption process works:
1. You MUST come into the shelter to meet a dog you are interested in (and meet a few others, while you’re at it!)
We do not require appointments – come anytime during normal business hours.
Our hours are 10-5 Mon, Wed, Thu Fri / 11-5 Saturday / 12-5 Sunday
We suggest you call ahead to be sure the dog(s) do not have pending applications
2. You will fill out your adoption application, including references, after finding a dog you’d like to adopt
3. The application review and reference checks will take up to 3-5 business days; you will not be able to bring a dog home same-day
We only take 2 applications per dog, before they are unavailable. This is why we suggest you call ahead to check the status of the pup!

We do not adopt out-of-state.
