Meet Patrick - Big Sweet Ball of Fluff!

This adorable giant ball of fluff is Patrick and he is a big sweet pup in need of a great home or foster home. Patrick is still quite young and he is a big bouncy playful fellow with a great personality! He wants to play with everything, including cats - so he will do best with a playful companion and he will need to learn manners to be around kitties (he gets a little too excited when he meets them). Patrick was a wandering boy, so he is learning leash manners, and doing well. Patrick certainly is a friendly boy, so he would do great with another dog or two for company and playtime. He was picked up as a stray and never reclaimed which sadly, is common for Pyrenees all over the south. He would love a home or foster home - so, if you are looking for a big fun growing pup - and are up for teaching this handsome guy everything he needs to learn, Patrick is waiting for his furever home. He has the most beautiful extra fluffy coat and a great Pyr smile :) We just love Patrick and can’t wait to see him find a great family of his own!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
