Patrick is a 1.5 yrs old neutered male Blue heeler who is UTD on his shots with a microchip. He is fun loving boy whom loves people and plays well with other dogs. Patrick is willing to work for treats and is toy motivated so learning new things for this boy is a breeze. He is currently living with 3 kids who are over 12 yrs old. He also lives with two other dogs and three cats. Patrick does well with all and has never met a stranger he doesn’t love to get pets from.
Patrick is a very active boy and needs an active owner willing to at the very least take him for a long walk daily (he also prefers long lead running after seagulls on the beach /or/ long hikes in the woods). But daily exercise is necessary otherwise his cattle dog energy starts to build up and explode in all sorts of directions.

Keep in mind herding breeds were developed to have high intelligence, stamina to run miles a day often in harsh conditions, independence to make decisions on their own when necessary, and the desire to form a working relationship with their people. They are going to want to be involved in your life and they are going to demand an outlet for their intelligence and athleticism.
