Meet Patience
A few words:
Sweet girl, easy to please, likes to be nearby people.

I have had a rough life, and I am unsure in the shelter - encourage me!

Patience has clearly had a hard life and her name couldn't be more fitting. Despite the neglect she has endured, she still wants nothing more than to be next to her person. This broken-down 36 lbs little angel has been overbred and carries literal scars on her body from who knows what. She is the dog that could be passed up easily at a glance in the shelter, and maybe elsewhere, but this girl, especially, deserves the chance to live her best life moving forward.
Patience is not surprisingly, heartworm positive, but her treatment is included with her adoption at no extra cost to her new family. She could use a foster home at the very least, as the shelter is a little bit overwhelming for her at times, yet ironically, maybe the best life she has had so far.
Adoption also includes vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
