Parker Hound Ferrisburgh, VT

PARKER is a 5-year-old Red Tick Hound mix weighing about 45lbs! He is gentle, calm and a quiet dog who has been at his VT foster home for 4 weeks and not yet heard a bark. He's a chill kind of guy who loves to put his head on your knee for a little loving or cuddle next to you. Parker loves car rides, is house trained, sleeps in his dog bed at night, is crate trained, is food motivated to learn, he sits and walks well on a leash without being phased by little critters walking by. At his VT foster home he stays near to the house off leash and has good recall. He's also trained with an underground fence. He's being fostered with another dog and ignores him, has met puppies who he plays with and is also great with them. Parker corrects easily and even doesn't mind his nails being clipped. Parker's best home will be with a single woman as he can be fearful of men. He also has the softest white and ginger coat you'll just want to keep petting him just to run your fingers through his fur. Parker's favorite thing is sleeping on the porch sunning himself or napping in his dog bed. The faster we can find forever homes for these sweeties, the more Winnies Legacy Rescue can save.
