Paprika is a 3 year-old Shih Tzu who weighs about 10 lbs. This cutie pie has unique markings.

2. Paprika's temperament and energy level

- loving;
- playful and interacts well with similar dogs;
- may show dominance to other dogs on occasion;
- house trained;
- enjoys good food;
- good with children who display appropriate behavior around dogs;
- travels well in cars.

3. Vetting

Fully vetted - spayed; UTD on core shots and bordetella; comprehensive bloodwork; fecal test; 4Dx test; dental; and microchipped.

4. Health Challenges

Paprika has been diagnosed with Microvascular Dysplasia, a liver condition. She will require specialist care, bloodwork and other tests on a regular basis. She also had struvite bladder stones and will require an appropriate diet going forward to prevent further occurrences.

Paprika will thrive in a home that provides her with the attention she deserves. We prefer that she be adopted into a home with a playful resident dog. Applicants with young children who are respectful of dogs and behave appropriately around them are welcome.
