Panda Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

REQUIREMENTS: live in the Rochester NY area (within 1/2 hr drive) and have a physically fenced in yard for her to safely run and play in.

Panda was born around 1/25/18 and is an adorable mystery mix, we really how no idea what she is a mix of. She looks like a mini Irish Wolfhound although we know she isn't. She weighs in at approx, 50 lbs and came to us with 9 babies. She is almost done raising her babies so we are looking to select her furever home to go to once done.
She is house-trained and loves to play with our other foster dog and chase squirrels outside. She has not been destructive at all and is now just left loose in house. While there is a cat in the home she is not what we would call good with cats, she likes to put her paw on cat and push her down. Not aggressive but the cat doesn't appreciate her. We expect that she would be fine with older (5 and up) children as she loves people and hasn't displayed any aggression. She will walk on leash but a little refinement wouldn't hurt.
We don't know her backstory as she was trapped outside in Texas and her and babies were taken to shelter there. Never fails to amaze us how people can abandon these sweet dogs. She was obviously a house pet at one point and is as sweet as they come.
She will be going to her adoptive home under a foster to adopt contract until her spay is complete April 15th. You would be required to get her into our vet clinic once booked for 7:30 am in Rochester and then pick up (3 to 4 pm) from rescue to finalize adoption at that time. For this reason we will not adopt to anyone outside our immediate adoption area. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
