Meet Pan

Ready to hear Pan's story?!

Pan came to us after she was rescued by a good samaritan. This girl was living under a trailer in the county with no mama dog in sight for days according to people who lived in the area. They took her in and started the search for a rescue to accept her into their program. After hearing her story and seeing her adorable face, we knew she would be joining our fluffy butt family! ?

Pan is a 9 week old female Great Pyrenees mix. We believe she might be mixed with some German Shepherd as well. Pan weighs about 10lbs right now. We are guessing that she will top out in the 60-70lb range.

Interested in what Pan's foster has to say about her? I can help with that! The below text is from her foster mom.

"Pan is very sweet and playful! She likes to play with his foster siblings but also likes to cuddle with her people. She likes to follow us wherever we go and is currently in her puppy-biting phase. She’s a little shy at first but acclimates very quickly. Pan is extremely friendly and loving and would make a perfect family member!"

Pan is still a baby and can be mouthy at times when she wants to play with her people. She loves being with her people and cuddling. She enjoys playing with her toys. She loves the bigger dogs and takes the role of the "pestering" little sister. She is so happy when she gets them to play with her!

You can apply to adopt Pan using the link below. However, we highly recommend reading her ENTIRE bio to find out more info about her and see if her personality would be a good fit with your family first.

?? Pan's Questionnaire ??
-----------------------------------------

? Is Pan potty trained?
Pan is still a baby, so she is not yet potty trained. This is something that her new family should be willing to work with her on it.

?Is Pan kennel trained?
Yes, Pan is kennel trained.

? Does Pan need continued socialization?
YES! In short, socialization involves thoughtfully exposing your puppy to various experiences she may have throughout life. This helps your pup develop into a well-balanced, confident dog. Be sure to expose her to

*People outside the immediate family.
*Outfits, facial hair, and accessories(hats, sunglasses, giant coats, etc).
*Places. Your pup may be wonderfully socialized at home. But what about the veterinary clinic, city sidewalk, or your office?
*Routine care. Handling your puppy’s paws, ears, and tail, inspecting teeth, and bathing and brushing regularly will make future veterinary visits and grooming a breeze.
*Sounds. Doorbells, sirens, thunder, fireworks, loud trucks, barking dogs—alarming sounds abound in our modern world.
*Unusual surfaces. You may have heard stories about dogs who won’t do their business outside when the grass is wet. Perhaps you’ve seen dogs panic at the sight of cattle grates, stair landings, or veterinary exam tables. These dogs probably didn’t spend much time walking on surfaces different from those they had at home.

?Is Pan good with other dogs?
Pan is being fostered around other dogs and does great with them.

?Is Pan good with cats?
Pan is not being fostered around any cats. With proper introduction, we believe she would be fine given how young she still is.

? Is Pan good with kids?
Pan is a puppy, so she loves everyone right now. With that said, she is all puppy and can be mouthy at times. We recommend a home with older kids.

?Would Pan do well in an apartment setting?
-If she had someone home most of the day with her and a good exercise plan in place, we believe she would be fine.

?? To Pan's Future Family ??

Pan is a medium-energy pup. We believe she would do well in any home but definitely likes to play so a family who can play or walk with her would be great. Another dog would be a plus, but depending on her new family's energy level she may also do fine as an only dog.

Pan is being fostered in Moore, OK. Her new family needs to be able to pick her up(even if they are out of state). No commercial transports and no shipping. Just a fun road trip with her and her new family! ?

Her adoption fee is $275. That includes two sets of puppy shots and wormings. She will also have had a bordetella. She will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
