Update 1/20/23:
Paisley continues to settle in and come out of her shell! She is acting like a housetrained dog in her foster home, with no accidents and going to the door when she needs to go out. She is excellent in her crate. She is super smart, wants to please, knows sit, is learning down and a few other commands. She gets along well with her doggie foster siblings - she looks to them for confidence and cues on how to be a house-dog. She would really like to have an easy going canine buddy in her new home to hang out with. She is friendly with the friendly cat and chases the scaredy cat in her foster home. She is a sweet, loving girl who wants to snuggle on the couch or in bed, go on walks, but can also be independent too. No dog is "perfect" but Paisley is pretty close!

Meet Paisley! Paisley is a two year old beautiful black standard Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog / Poodle mix) with a bit of white on her face that was surrendered from a breeder that got overwhelmed. She was cared for in her previous life and has had some socialization and exposure, and even knew “sit” and her name - so she is not your typical puppy mill dog.

Paisley is gorgeous, with a beautiful deep black coat, and a tail that keeps wagging, and she will simply brighten your day. She has a sparkling, charismatic personality and she is bubbling with enthusiasm. She has a medium amount of energy, is smart, and is truly one of the sweetest dogs - she would do anything for some pets and snuggles. She shows a moderate level of interest in cats in her foster home. She gets along with her dog foster siblings, and she appropriately lets them know when they play too rough for her. Paisley would like a canine sibling that is confident and easy going. She is crate trained and working on house training and leash walking. We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
