Paddy Terrier Mix Charlotte, NC

Meet Paddy! Paddy is a 4 month old chihuahua/terrier mix who weighs 14 lbs and will be about 25-30 lbs full grown. Paddy, or Paddington as his foster parents often call him, is doing absolutely excellent with potty training and his foster parents have no doubts that it won’t take long at all in his new home! Paddy is incredibly smart and does incredibly well with following commands that his foster mom is teaching him. He already knows sit and is working on sit/stay. His foster mom has also started leash training him and he’s doing excellent! Paddy is going to be an excellent dog for an active adopter, with or without another dog. The only thing we ask of his new adopters is that they continue his socializing so that he can continue having positive social interactions with other dogs. Paddy will also need to be crate trained until older and less likely to get into all the things that puppies will get into. The only bad thing we have to say about Paddy is he does very awful in the car and gets very car sick every single time. His foster parents are trying to get him past this, but with covid it’s been a little difficult and limited. Paddy will be due for one more set of boosters and then he will be finished with his puppy boosters. He will also need to be neutered at 6 months.

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all necessary medical costs while in our care.
