"Meet Pachik: Your Loyal, Athletic, and Intelligent Sidekick!

Pachik is a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois mix looking for an active and experienced owner. Loyal and affectionate, he forms strong bonds with his people and thrives in a home where someone is around often. He would do best with another dog, older children, and plenty of space to run, ideally a large yard or property. Experience with working breeds is recommended.

Key Traits & Training Needs:

Energetic & Intelligent: Pachik excels with structured activities like agility, scent training, or daily running. He loves chasing the ball and is eager to learn.
Training in Progress: He knows many commands (Sit, Stay, Come, Down, Shake, Back, Rollover, Turnaround, and more) and is house, crate, and place trained. He stays off furniture and loves sleeping in his crate. Recall training is going pretty good. However, he needs continued work on impulse control and leash walking. He has a hard time being left alone and will need continued training to build confidence when apart from his humans.
Protective & Playful: He's developing protective instincts but does well with proper introductions to new people and dogs. Socialization exposure will be key. He loves dog daycare and could do well in a pack
Ideal Home:

Pachik is best suited for an active owner who enjoys training and adventure and has a good routine. He needs a home with ample space, daily exercise, and would benefit from at least one other dog for companionship (with proper compatibility testing). He is not a fit for a city apartment or a household where he's left alone frequently.
