Meet Ozzy Osbark
"Ozzy is so sweet. He loves our dogs and is does well with them. He has learned which ones he can play with and which ones he needs to leave alone. He is great with my kids too. He loves to play with toys when a dog doesn't want to play with him and when it's time to just relax he is good at settling down. He likes to be in the same room with his person so he will follow you around. Ozzy is such a good boy and will make a wonderful addition to his forever home!!"
Ozzy Osbark is a 7-month-old male Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. He currently weighs about 76lbs. He came into rescue after his owner could no longer keep him. Ozzy does well when meeting new people and is happy and excited. Ozzy doesn't jump on people from what the fosters have noted. Ozzy has not been to any public outings, but was very friendly at the vet and wanted to greet everyone. He has not shown to be a big chewer in his foster home. Ozzy has not shown to have any food aggression or resource guarding issues in his foster home.
Ozzy Osbark is a mix of playful and calm. He loves to play, but once everyone has settled down he settles down too. Ozzy likes to chew bones and rope toys. He loves chasing after the tennis ball but does not bring it back. We are unsure if Ozzy is a water dog or not. Ozzy does good on car rides and walks well on the leash. We do not believe that Ozzy is a good candidate for apartment living. Ozzy has not shown to be a big barker in his foster home. At night, Ozzy sleeps in the bedroom with his foster parents.

-Ozzy loves other dogs and loves to play with them. He reads the dogs around him well and knows the playful ones and leaves the grumpy ones alone.
-Ozzy Osbark is not being fostered around any cats so we are unsure how he would do with them.
-Ozzy has been around kids 8+ and has done great with them.
-Ozzy is potty trained.
-Ozzy's foster has not had to kennel him since someone is usually always home and he has free roam. However, he has slept in an open kennel on his own a few times.
Ozzy would love another dog to play with and I think would do great in an active or calm home as long as he gets his playtime. If you would like to bring this boy home, you can apply to adopt him at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app
His adoption fee is $225. That includes DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordatella shots. He will be micro-chipped, heart-worm tested, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
