Meet Ozzie
Ozzie is a two year, 8 month old english cream dachshund. He is approximately 12.5 pounds. Ozzie was very loved in his former home, but sadly was surrendered due to an illness in the family.
This initially shy guy is playful and cuddly once he has a few days to warm up. He really enjoys the yard but does have a penchant for escaping, so a securely fenced private yard is a must.
Ozzie would do best in a quieter home, without a lot of people or other animals as he is more shy. His ideal home would have a friendly companion dog to play and learn from. Older, dog savvy children (8+) will be considered. His forever home should also have a staggered work schedule, so he is not alone for long hours.
