Meet Owner Died! SENIOR PAIR Maggie & Frank - OWNER DIED!
*** URGENT! Owner died of cancer!!! Frank & Maggie living on the porch and house is being sold! Family members can’t take! ***
Here is what the family members have to say about them:
“Frank is a mutt, but his mom looked to be part border collie and he looks to also be part Sharpei. He is about 12-13 years old and is very sweet. He is neutered and house trained.
Maggie is a full-blooded blue staffordshire terrier. She is about 11-12 years old and she is THE SWEETEST dog you’ll ever meet. There isn’t a mean bone in her body and she loves every human she comes in contact with. She is spayed and house trained.
Maggie and Frank have lived in the same house in Florida for their entire lives. Maggie has been on trips to PetSmart and other places and does well with other dogs. We don’t really know what Frank would do around other dogs, but I’m sure he could be integrated pretty easily, as sweet as he is. In his younger years he was a little more wild and protective, but he has calmed down from that.
They are both house trained. Maggie is pretty overweight because their owner never controlled her food intake. She would greatly benefit from a diet and regular exercise.
It is their dying owner’s wish that they stay together, if at all possible. They have always been together and that’s all they know. It would be way too traumatic to separate them.
Currently, they are living outside on the front porch and are checked on every few days. The porch is covered, they have warm bedding, a gravity feeder with plenty of food, and plenty of water, but they are always alone and we feel awful about it. They get very excited when we drive up.”
PLEASE - if anyone can help this sweet senior pair, contact us ASAP as their time is running out fast!!

(Please NOTE —- this pair is currently in the south where they face euthanasia if sent to a shelter. They will be transported to whoever can open their heart and home and home to them in the Northeast)
