Otter Pit Bull Terrier Mix Harrisburg, PA

Otter here! I am a 3 year old Pit Bull mix from a busy shelter in Philadelphia. The great staff here took a trip down to pull myself and 12 other dogs. Angels among us I say! I was in a foster program during my time in Philly, so I was used to a home environment for a bit. I did quite well there and would make a great dog for the right person. I am very active! I love to play and go for runs. I am a full speed ahead type of guy, so if you’re in slow motion, we wouldn’t be a good pair. I do know sit and down, plus I take treats very nicely. What I need the most work on is my mouthy behavior, at times I get carried away and am persistent. I am especially mouthy when wanting more attention or REALLY EXCITED! WOOO! That is why I would do the best with kids over 12 years old. I am smart though and with the right home to keep my in line, I’d be a great dog. I am already, but you know what I mean. I am a rough character when it comes to cats and critters, so that’s a hard no for me to live with any. As for dogs, I did seem to want to play with the lovely lady I met here. I also tried to mount as well, but I got the hint when she flashed me her pearly whites. That about sums me up! I look forward to meeting you. Please bring snacks and toys
