Ott Havanese Thompson's Station, TN

Ott is an approximately 7 year old Havenese that weighs 17 pounds. Ott came into our program back in April with a group of other dogs from a breeder situation. Ott was one of the most fearful of the group and has spent time working with his foster family on learning to be a real family dog. He has certainly come a long way but remains a quirky little guy. Ott is lovable but only lets his foster mom hold and love on him. He enjoys going on leash walks but tends to move in circles to keep ahead of the other dogs. He knows to go outside to the bathroom but hasn't yet learned how to ask. Ott will need a very special, patient and understanding adopter that will continue to work with him and be patient gaining his trust. He will require a quiet environment without kids and someone that is home more than gone.

Ott is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is any donation you feel appropriate due to his senior status. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.
