The Gentleman Sidekick
Say hello to Otis, your future shadow and the ultimate low-energy, high-comfort companion! At 3 years young and tipping the scales at 67 lbs, this black and white English Pointer mix is a walking, occasionally jogging, testament to canine charm. Otis has mastered the art of the chill vibe, preferring to spend his days lounging by your side rather than chasing his tail in the chaos of dog parks.
Upon meeting new folks, Otis takes a polite few minutes to assess the situation before melting into a puddle of friendliness. Training him? A breeze. With a patience that would make a saint nod in approval, he’s eager to please and even more eager to learn, making him a gold star pupil in the school of Good Boys.
Otis is a pro with children—his gentle soul and playful heart make him a family favorite. When it comes to other dogs, he’s Mr. Congeniality, thriving in the company of both boisterous and bashful types. He might take a moment to size up new canine acquaintances but soon enough, he’s all wags and wiggles.
Living arrangements? Otis isn't picky. He's as happy in an apartment as he is in a home with a yard, as long as he's got his human pack close by. And while he might have a curious glance for a squirrel or two, his nonexistent prey drive makes him a perfect city or suburban pal.
Otis has a full repertoire of skills—house trained, crate trained, leash-trained, and he handles vet visits like a champ. His only quirk? An occasional mouthy playfulness when overly excited, but it’s nothing a little redirection can’t handle.
