Meet Otis
Animal Profile: Otis is an estimated 7-month-old male bully breed mix puppy who was pulled from Caddo Parish shelter and arrived in Seattle on 1/3. In true puppy form he is sweet, playful, and good with people and other dogs. We will share more info once we get to know him in foster care.
Foster Update:
Otis is a happy, playful, sweet little pup who is ready to be your best friend! He's young so he has some puppy energy but he'll also happily curl up in your lap with a chew toy or doze off next to you while getting pets. He's affectionate, snuggly and likes to be close. He's a quick learner and is picking up commands rapidly.
Otis loves my resident dog. He enjoys playing with him and likes to sleep next to (or on top of) him. He has been around cats and has been respectful, so he should do just fine with other dog-savvy cats.
Overall, Otis is a well-rounded little pup and will make an excellent companion for a lucky family! We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard, and a balanced resident dog would be a plus but not necessary.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: This dog was transferred from Caddo Parish animal shelter in Louisiana and arriving to Seattle area via Tail Lights Rescue Project on 1/31/2023. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.
