Meet Oso
Oso is a playful and gentle little guy, around one and a half years old, that desperately wants to be someone's sidekick. Oso was dumped at the Golden Gate Racetrack where a horse trainer found him and kept him in a spare horse stall while he tried to find an owner. Once it was established that Oso did not have an owner looking for him, the horse trainer took him to his home until he could find a permanent place for him.
The trainer reported that Oso got along well with his dogs, did not have an accident in the home, and was an easy sweetheart of a dog. The sanctuary team has fallen in love with Oso's silly and affectionate personality. Oso may be ok with cats. He wants to play with the resident barn cat, so any kitty housemates should be dog-savy.
We are accepting applications for Oso and setting up meet and greets. He will be ready to go to his new home after he is neutered on 4/10.
