Adventures of Oscar: Beach Day!
Hi friends! Oscar the tripaw here! I know Ive been kinda quiet the last week, but its just because foster mom has been taking me on so many wonderful adventures! The park! Petsmart! The beach!
The beach was so much fun! The waves were scary at first, but Id follow my foster mom anywhere and she said that the waves were little and it was ok. And it was!
Foster mom says Ive been one of her sweetest and most well-behaved foster dogs ever! And that says a lot! She says Im 99.9% perfect! She took away 0.1% because I still need work on my leash skills. But the cool thing is - I LOVE to work and doing training activities. And not just because I get lots of treats!
I know some people might think that dogs with three legs cant do fun things - but thats the complete opposite! I love going outside for walks! I also love staying in on the couch and cuddling with you. Fetch is my favorite. And foster mom says the cutest thing I do is while I play fetch. She throws the ball, I run to get it and then try to bury it in my blanket! Then I get extra surprised when I find it again!
If you are looking for a sweet, smart, loyal, handsome dog - then Im your guy! Bonus if youll let me sleep in your bed at night! But Ive had a ruff life, so please only apply to adopt me if you are serious.
About Oscar:
3 yr old male (neutered). About 25-30 pounds.
Breed: Mixed breed/Mutt. Our best guess is a heeler mix, he has herding tendencies. He also has the adorable front paw turnout like bassets & dachshunds.
Personality: Sweet. So sweet. Smart. Goofy. Loyal - this guy will follow his owner anywhere! Even into scary waves.
Fully housebroken & crate trained. Hes left free roaming during the day. He doesnt get into anything. Doesnt destroy toys or dog beds - he does polite little nib nibs, some call it nooking.
Knows basic commands like sit, stay, down. Were working on leash skills, he pulls a bit out of excitement.
No cats please!
Loves walks and rolling in the grass. Does great in the car and with stairs.
Oscar is a wonderful pup. A true gem. Hes just looking for his furever family.
